The DisplaySearch Business Conference will kick-off Display Week 2011 and will feature presentations and panel discussions by DisplaySearch analysts and executives from leading companies in the display industry.


Mr. Liu Jun will present the conference’s first keynote speech on Tuesday, May 16 from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. PDT. Titled “China and the State of Displays,” the presentation will address China’s role in the display technology industry, its relevance to the global display market and the growth of innovative technology research and development by Chinese companies. Hanvonwill highlight some of the most interesting developments of the past year, discuss the future of joint partnerships and his vision for display technology innovation, and will conclude with an examination of how Chinese companies such as Hanvon are pushing the boundaries of display technology.


The eBook and Tablet Market Evolution Conference,co-organized by SID and IMS Research, will examine the outlook for the global ebook and tablet markets and how display technologies are likely to evolve.


Mr. Liu Jun will deliver a presentation titled, “What New Developments in Touch Will Mean for e-Readers and Tablets,” on Thursday, May 19 from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. PDT that will consider the way new technologies are poised to change traditional touch panel technology and how such a change will help expand business applications for tablets and e-readers in China as well as globally. Mr. Liu Jun will also provide a detailed introduction to Hanvon’s breakthrough touch technology and discuss the company’s high-res e-reader and its industry-first E-Ink-based color e-reader product roadmaps.
